Statement

In my work, I explore all the feelings, emotions, the values we do attach to spaces experienced by us. I look back at representations and images, but I also look forward trying to imagine future spaces that our contemporary, capitalist, and digital age might produce. I am also interested in how the continuous interference of humans with non-human actors - such as animals, plants, and artificial intelligence - and its more and more problematic consequences will further influence our daily existing and not yet existing spaces. Although each project shows a physical outcome of the intensive preceding research that I do, I never consider them final. They stay open to interventions and interpretations, always referring to the actuality of our time. In my view, the future is and remains an unknown terrain that can only be approached through constant critical speculation, fiction and challenging our contemporary structures and systems.
