Statement
Portraits and Figures embody the unsettling position of women in relationship to the world she inhabits. Fact and fantasy collide to shape certain spaces and leave some undefined to the potential of the wandering mind. Neo- Feminism, magical realism, mysticism, genetics, and other stuff, with a slipping irony and the never-ending push and pull of everyday contradictions, cohabitate and crystallize into paintings.
