Statement
Through a multidisciplinary practise that include installation, sculpture, photography and drawing, Sylvain Baumann investigate power relations, conditioning, control and frictions between human beings and their environment. He probe the porosity between physical and imaginary space in order to problematize the relationship between model and reality, responsibility and conditioning, and explore our reactions to directives emanating from the environment in our processes of individuation.
